Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Engagement

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of engineering services, EPCI installations, third-party plant inspections, scaffolding rental, QHSSE consultancy, and occupational safety training provided by Echitech Engineering Services (“Echitech”) to corporate clients and individual trainees.

2. Quotations, Scopes & Mobilization

All technical proposals and pricing quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified in writing. Site mobilization commences strictly upon receipt of an authorized Purchase Order (PO) or signed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and fulfillment of agreed mobilization commitments.

3. Site Access, Safety Protocols & Cooperation

The client is responsible for granting unobstructed, safe physical access to project locations, machinery, and facility areas scheduled for inspection or fire system installation. Echitech engineers reserve the right to pause work if active, uncontrolled site hazards violate safety protocols or statutory regulations.

4. Equipment Leasing & Custody

Leased equipment (including forklifts, access machinery, and scaffolding) remains the exclusive property of Echitech. Clients must ensure leased plant is operated strictly within statutory load limits, maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, and operated solely by certified, authorized personnel.

5. QHSSE Training & Certification

Course registration fees cover tuition, courseware, and certification assessment. Certificates of competency are issued solely to candidates who satisfy the requisite attendance hours and successfully pass competency examinations. Echitech reserves the right to withhold certification if academic or practical requirements are unfulfilled.

6. Warranties & Liability Limitation

Fire detection, suppression, and engineering installations are executed in conformity with applicable engineering codes (including NFPA and local Lagos safety standards). Echitech’s liability is limited to the direct contract value of the specific service rendered and does not extend to consequential indirect operational damages.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from commercial contracts shall be resolved through good-faith mediation in Lagos State prior to legal proceedings.
